baby moon, baby

Work was getting pretty exhausting... I had 40 hours of PTO saved up so I decided to take a week off when I was 34 weeks.  That meant I only had 2 more weeks of work before leave and that sounded good to me!

We planned to visit my grandparents cabin in Durango, CO like we do every year, however sitting in a car for 11 hours did not sound like it would treat my swollen feet very well, or bladder for that matter.  By the way, if peeing a full bladder of pee right after you just peed was a super power then I'd be able to save the world.

Colorado was sadly out of the picture.  We phone our cousins who live in Alameda and decided to spend 3 days in San Francisco!  Instead of 11 hours it only would have taken us 6, except that it took us 7.5 to get there because every hour I had to walk around and pee.  The trip was totally last minute and totally the best decision ever.  Thank you Bryon and Kheron.  It was the perfect last hurrah.

Wade and I had never really been to San Francisco.  We ran from Napa to San Francisco during a Ragnar Relay, but that doesn't really count.  I had no idea how small it actually is!  We didn't know what we were going to do until our first morning there.  We just knew we couldn't spend a lot of dolla bills.  We totally winged it.  We took a ferry over to San Francisco and left our car with our cousins.  Wade bought us tickets for a bus tour (if you're spending 1 or 2 days in San Francisco then take the hop-on hop-off bus tours!!!!  It only takes an hour to tour all of San Francisco, you don't have to worry about driving or parking, and you get to see everything! If you hop-off, no problem, buses come ever 20 minutes).

We stopped at Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge for a while, the Painted Ladies, City Hall (and farmers market), and I think that's all..

The next day we TOURED PIXAR!  Kheron works there and we were able to see the best business offices ever.  We totally want to work there.  Really, Wade was looking for jobs online while we ate lunch.

Any-who, enjoy the pics!
